halloween fit for a princess

Every year Halloween means a little more to me as an uncle. This year Katarina and I carved as many pumpkins as we could get our hands on. It's a mess and we are covered in pumpkin seeds that stick to our arms and faces when we are finished, but we have a blast.

I take her trick-or-treating and this year Katarina was old enough to ring the doorbells by herself.... Wow they grow up fast! I waited patiently by mailboxes just as proud as every of my niece.

The first image is one I took in the backyard of the Princess herself. She is such a little model and I gave her little direction. She is just that cute. The second image was art directed completely by Katarina. She chose the shirt she would be wearing, how the pumpkins would be set up, even down to the fact she wanted London in the picture. [she has a great eye and I have no clue where she gets it from.]

I hope you all had a great Halloween!

Drew, how lucky she is to have her as an uncle! Almost as lucky as you are to be a part of her life. Love ya!
