My friend Monica and I went to the Wild Roast in their new location on Main Street SE in Minneapolis, before heading to the rush line at the Guthrie Theater. [an almost monthly occurrence for us]As we were eating in line [as we so often do], a lady approached us offering to sell us her tickets. I think she paid a lot of money for them and wanted to recover her loss; however, I held strong and we walked away with amazing seats for $20.00 a ticket! [all I had to do was reminder her we were in the stand by line for a reason... we only wanted to pay $20.00 for a ticket]
This was by far the best production I've seen at the Guthrie thus far. Only four actors with amazing energy and talent. I'd go back if the show was still running. [I guess I should have blogged about it sooner]
